Poetry : Wild Roses

Wild Roses

Amongst roses & trees, between heavens

A gorgeous young maiden danced away

Catching the eye of a wandering stranger

A stranger with heart, soul, pen, & paper

Thick long dark brown velvety curls,

Danced joyously with the whimsical wind!

Her mesmerising deep black almond eyes,

Glistened playfully with too many secrets,

Her light brown dewy skin glowed!

Shining brightly under the warm sunlight

Her soft plump rose pink lips formed a smile,

One brighter than a hundred thousand suns!

Ethereal beauty that trapped one & all

An alluring siren in real human flesh

The stranger left hoping to see her again

Amongst roses & trees, between heavens
