Romance

She sat across me draped in beautiful patterned fabric
I watched her thoughtful expression as we waited quietly
She was one of those people who made you forget
Forget what you were about to say & about to do
I roamed her beautiful emerald eyes like a lost child
My breath hitched as she tucked a loose strand away
Her eyes lit up brightly once she caught me staring
When the tea arrived our conversations slowly began
Words flowed like sweet poetry dripping with mystery
A slice of sweet romance in the cacophony of boorish life
