Poetic Prose : Creepers

Creepers

Thousands of leafy green creepers sneak out from the crystal balcony in the sky. They curl downwards as if inviting me to climb up there, climb up past the flowers and clouds to reach the formidable yet tantalizing prize. I have passed by the emerald pranksters a billion times. I've stood beneath them in the gloomy cemetery of my reality with my feet firmly planted in the cold & comforting soil. One of these days, maybe one of these days I'll make the long procrastinated trip to these lavender clouds.
